01 Your guests

Paste one guest per line, or CSV with Name, Group, Meal, Notes columns. Groups are labels; add explicit seating rules below.

02 Your tables

Choose each guest’s table from the list, or drag their name onto a table on desktop. This overview is not a scaled venue floor plan.

The seats are sorted. Keep the moments, too.

Your seating plan is always free. Creating an album does not upload your guest list.

How to make your wedding seating chart

    1. Add your guests from a spreadsheet or type their names. Use a surname or label to distinguish guests with identical names.
    2. Add round or rectangular tables and set the seats available at each one.
    3. Add sit-together and keep-apart rules, then auto-seat. You can adjust every assignment manually.
    4. Resolve any warnings, download a backup, and print your seating chart or place cards.

    Frequently asked questions

Is this seating chart maker really free?

Yes. Arrange up to 250 guests across 40 tables, use seating rules, and export or print without paying or creating an account. Our optional photo albums are a separate product.

Can I use it for a party or corporate event?

Yes. Use it for weddings, dinners, reunions and other seated events. It assigns tables, not specific numbered chairs, and does not check venue dimensions or accessibility requirements.

Does my guest list leave my device?

No. The seating tool processes and saves it in your browser. Clearing site data or using private browsing may remove your plan. Download a JSON backup for safekeeping. There is no cloud sync or shared editing.

    Can I import Excel?

Export your spreadsheet as CSV, then import it here. Direct XLSX import is not included. Names with commas must be in quotation marks.

What happens if seating rules cannot be satisfied?

We explain the conflict and keep your current plan. You can increase table sizes, adjust rules or seat guests manually. Manual changes show warnings when a rule or capacity is exceeded.

How do I save the chart as a PDF?

Select a print button, then choose Save as PDF in your browser. The seating plan includes a table list and alphabetical guest lookup. Place cards include names and table labels; meal preferences and private notes are omitted.
